Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise overallContainer Maintenance & Repair operations, including Repair Body, Reefer Unit, EIR, and EMR Administration.
Lead and coordinate theRepair Body Team Lead, Repair Unit Team Lead, EIR Team Lead, and EMR Admin.
Oversee container inspection, damage assessment, repair estimation, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure quality and timely completion.
Ensure container body and reefer unit repairs comply withMaersk, IICL, and applicable industry standards.
Plan and manage manpower, workload, tools, spare parts, and resources to meet operational requirements.
Ensure accurateEIR, repair estimates, repair records, and EMR documentationand system updates.
Monitor repair quality, turnaround time, productivity, costs, material usage, and operational KPIs.
Ensure all activities comply withHSSE requirements, safe working procedures, and company policies.
Coordinate with Depot Operations, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth container flow and repair operations.
Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across M&R operations.
Coach and develop team leads and team members to strengthen technical capability, safety, quality, and performance.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree inMechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum3–5 years of experiencein container maintenance & repair, depot operations, or a related technical environment.
Supervisory experience managingcontainer repair, reefer maintenance, EIR, or EMR operationsis preferred.
Good knowledge of container inspection, damage assessment, repair estimation, and repair processes.
Knowledge ofcontainer body repair and reefer refrigeration/electrical systemsis an advantage.
Knowledge ofIICL standards, EIR processes, and container repair criteriais preferred.
Strong understanding ofHSSE and safe maintenance practices.
Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to lead multiple operational functions.
Strong planning, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills withbasic to good English proficiency.
