Supervisor/Executive - Production (F/M/D)

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Production / Repacking Operations

• Supervise daily activities across shifts as per production and dispatch plans.
• Execute repacking of specialty chemicals into approved pack sizes (cartridges, cans, pails, drums, IBCs, etc.).
• Ensure machine readiness, correct settings, and effective utilization of repacking equipment.
• Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, and other cross functional team to ensure smooth operations.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs & work instructions.
• Verify product identification, labeling accuracy, batch coding, and packaging integrity.
• Maintain complete and accurate batch records and repacking documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and closure of audit findings.

3. Safety, Health & Environment (EHS)

• Enforce safety procedures, PPE usage, and safe handling of specialty chemicals.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure incident/near‑miss reporting.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the repacking area.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company EHS requirements.

4. People Management

• Supervise operators, contract workforce, and helpers.
• Allocate manpower shift‑wise to meet volume and SKU complexity.
• Train teams on SOPs, safety, quality, and productivity expectations.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Identify productivity improvement and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Participate in Kaizen, Lean, and shop‑floor improvement projects.
• Support standardization and best‑practice sharing across BUs.

Qualifications:

8- 10 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, MBA in Operations preferred
