Supplier Development Engineer

Key Accountabilities

• Evaluate and audit new supplier

• Monitor/Manage supplier APQP process to ensure the successful launch of new project,

• Monitor supplier quality performance

• Implement annual audit plan for suppliers

• Develop and push suppliers for continuous improvement

• Verify supplier corrective action effectiveness

• Maintain supplier Quality Agreement signing & update in order to ensure suppliers' quality control system meet company's quality requirement

• Make the EPC (early production containment) plan to ensure safe launch when ramp-up

• Review and approve PPAP

• Submit monthly quality report for responsible materials & suppliers in order to reflect suppliers' quality performance

• Monitor /support the 4M change from supplier side .

• Support energy management and saving activities.

• Another job assigned by manager

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Automation, Mechanical is better.

• 3+ years of SDE experience at Auto industrial. Fully experience of supplier new project development at complex end components.

• Trained VDA 6.3 auditor.

• Familiar with machining ,cold forming, forging ,casting, assembly parts manufacturing process

• Familiar with 5 core tools, APQP,PPAP,FMEA, MSA,SPC

• Full experience of problem solving, leading global function team investigation in case need

• Quality Management System tools and continuous improvement methodologies

• Interpreting Engineering Drawings, familiar of GD&T.

• Highly developed relationship-building skills, and strong presentation and communication skills

• Experience working positively and productively in a team environment. Highly collaborative

• Experienced user in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required

• Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with global time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet global business needs

• English can be a working language.

• Six sigma green belt is a plus.
