We are looking for a motivated Support Specialist to join our Customer Support team in Berlin. In this role, you will primarily support our customers whenever they request our guidance and collaborate with our product and sales teams in creating a premium customer experience. Along the way, you'll gain hands-on experience, build new skills, and grow within a fast-paced, purpose-driven team.
About your new role
Customer support: Answer support inquiries via phone, chat, and e-mail, keeping everything organized across our systems.
Guiding People: Show church employees and volunteers how to get the most out of ChurchDesk, guiding them through daily church administration, communication, and planning.
Self-Service support: Create and update Helpdesk articles to grow our self-service offerings.
Growing product expertise: Through a mix of 1st- and 2nd-level support, you'll quickly grow into a product expert — becoming a coach who shows customers how to use ChurchDesk confidently and get real value out of it for their work.
Collaboration: Work within a growing support team, collaborating across countries and closely with our Product, Onboarding, Sales, and Tech teams, sharing customer insights and local feedback.
Requirements
Skills & Requirements
Experience in customer support or another customer-facing role, ideally with a genuine passion for delivering great service.
Native German with fluent English, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
A good technical understanding, with the ability to make complex systems easy to understand for non-technical users.
Background in church operations or church administration — whether through employment or volunteer work — is highly valued. Familiarity with ChurchDesk is a nice bonus, but not a must.
A methodical, patient approach to recurring tasks, with an eye for accuracy and consistency, always keeping the customer experience in mind.
A warm, attentive listener who genuinely enjoys understanding people's needs, anticipating challenges, and offering thoughtful guidance.
