Our team are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where our residents can be fully involved in their care and support in order to lead a more independent and fulfilling future.
You may also be required to cover shifts at our 2 other local homes within the area.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated and resilient Support Worker to join our team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support, helping the people we support to live with dignity, independence, choice and purpose.
As a key worker, you will support individuals with daily living, personal care, activities and community involvement, while helping them achieve their personal goals and live their best lives. No two days are the same, and your empathy and resilience will be essential in supporting people through both the highs and lows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred personal care and daily living support.
- Promote choice, independence and involvement.
- Support individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes.
- Encourage participation in activities and community life.
- Build positive relationships with individuals, families and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate care records, plans and daily notes.
- Act as a key worker, supporting individuals to set and review goals.
- Maintain safety, confidentiality and professional standards.
- Contribute ideas to continuously improve the service.
