PA Support Worker – Young Adult Support
Location: Gosport, Hampshire
Pay: £16.50 per hour
Hours: Approx. 3–6 hours per week initially, with additional flexible hours available

We are currently looking for a calm, patient and reliable PA Support Worker to support a 19-year-old young man living independently in supported lodgings in Gosport.
The young person has ADHD, epilepsy and suspected Autism and requires support with routines, emotional regulation, budgeting, meal preparation, independence skills and maintaining healthy boundaries and relationships.
He enjoys football, drumming, cooking, art, youth groups and screen-based activities. He responds best to low-demand, relationship-based support with clear and consistent boundaries. The successful candidate will support him with practical life skills, organisation, emotional understanding and healthy routines in a positive and non-confrontational manner.
Working Hours
There is flexibility around support hours, with shifts available either:
- Wednesday evenings, or
- Alternative Saturdays
- Typical hours: 17:30 – 20:30
Additional ad hoc hours may also be available for activities and community support.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is:
- Warm, emotionally aware and patient
- Able to build professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
- Experienced in supporting young people or young adults with Autism, ADHD or additional needs
- Confident supporting independence and emotional regulation
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
- Experience working with young people with neurodiverse needs or trauma backgrounds
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to support community access and activities
