Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to work with a young person in Weymouth. This role involves providing consistent, low-pressure support both at home and in the community, helping to build independence and confidence over time.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing a trusting relationship, supporting emotional wellbeing, and encouraging engagement in daily activities, including outdoor interests and animal care.
Requirements
- Ideally holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Health & Social Care
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
- Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
- Able to work set hours with flexibility when required
- Must be comfortable with animals, including horses and multiple pets
- Full UK driving licence required
- A warm, approachable nature with a good sense of humour
