Systems Unlimited is looking to add a Supported Living Coordinator- Remote Supports focused to our Iowa City team.
This Supported Living Coordinator will have a caseload where remote support technologies are utilized, and will be supporting the agency's efforts to expand remote support services. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in providing services for people with disabilities, as well as a passion for using enabling technology to help increase their independence.

Key Responsibilities
As a Supported Living Coordinator (SLC) you will:
Assist with all aspects of supervision for assigned caseload including hiring, disciplinary action, and development.
Participate in the assessment, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of remote support technologies for individuals receiving Supported Community Living services
Support the agency's efforts to expand remote support services as a sustainable model to enhance services; developing an in-depth understanding of the equipment, software, and hardware systems
Work with support staff to ensure service implementation as stated in Individual Service Plans. Attend staff meetings and/or provide on-site training when needed.

Coordinate development of Individual Service Plans and update key documents to reflect service need changes within established timelines.
Collaborate with the Compliance and Quality Improvement (CQI) department to ensure recommendations are implemented in a timely manner.
Act as the main contact for stakeholders.
Work with internal and external parties to facilitate referral process.
Collaborate with Finance Department to develop individual and site budgets that reflect services outlined in Individual Service Plans.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
The applicant should have experience in the following areas:
BA/BS in a human services related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience working with people with disabilities and implementing service provision.

Experience supervising multiple employees.
Applicant must maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is acceptable from a risk management perspective.
This position works primarily business hours M-F 8:00am-4:30pm. Occasional work in the evenings or on weekends may be required. This position is located in Iowa City, but occasional travel to outlying service areas is required.
