Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 12 Months

Candidates are required to have In-Person Interviews

Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs.
Maintain and document operational, configuration, or other procedures.
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
Create scripts to automate application administration tasks.
Provides problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of system and hardware problems.
Coordinate and adhere to multiple enterprise services and their associated processes.
Work with the team to ensure the quality of the assigned application(s), functional area(s) or project(s).
Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and taking responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and services
o Windows Server 2008 R2 and later
o IIS 7 and later
o SQL Server 2008 and later
o SharePoint 2010 and later

Knowledge using common Windows application protocols
o CIFS
o HTTP(S)
o LDAP
o SSL, TLS, SSH
o Windows Management Protocols

Knowledge of scripting in: Python, Jscript, PowerShell, Microsoft command-line (cmd.exe)

System Administrator level knowledge of Linux Operating System is plus.

Experience with Apache Server/Tomcat server configuration.

Working knowledge and understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, firewalls, routers, and switches.

Good understanding of load balancing, application /webserver security.

General troubleshooting skills
