Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• We are looking for experienced Systems Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. A bachelor’s or master’s degrees in computer science are preferred with a minimum of three (6) year’s relevant experience with the following skillsets:

  Core System Engineering & Troubleshooting

  • Tier 3 troubleshooting experience in enterprise Windows environments
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server OS
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

  Patching, Automation & Configuration Management

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with WSUS across multiple enclaves and in offline/air-gapped systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud patching tools (Azure Update Management, AWS SSM)
  • Familiarity with SCCM/ConfigMgr or similar enterprise patching tools
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation automation and STIG compliance workflows

  Virtualization & Infrastructure

  • Experience with VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Experience with commercial cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)

  Professional Skills

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with data transfer rules
• Experience with Authorization and Accreditation Procedures
• Experience with automation
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools

What you can expect from us

• The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $135,000 - 160,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
