We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Acquisition Lead to help scale a fast-growing biotechnology company during a pivotal stage of growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on recruiter with strong sourcing capabilities, excellent recruiting judgment, and experience supporting high-volume hiring in biotech, life sciences, or other highly technical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support full-cycle recruiting across technical and business functions
Proactively source and engage top-tier talent in highly competitive markets
Partner directly with hiring managers and technical team leads to understand hiring needs and drive searches from kickoff through close
Conduct recruiter screens and manage interview coordination throughout the hiring
Build strong pipelines of talent through networking, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies
Drive candidate engagement and maintain a high-quality candidate experience
Serve as a trusted recruiting partner throughout the hiring process
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree plus additional relevant experience considered
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant experience recruiting within biotech, life sciences, or other technical industries
Strong experience sourcing technical, scientific, or specialized talent
Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates
Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working onsite full-time in San Diego
