About the Role

We are building our Talent Pool for experienced Archive Producers to support our current and upcoming productions.

As an Archive Producer at Box to Box, you will play a central role in shaping the visual narrative of our high-end, unscripted series. You will work closely with the editorial and post teams to source, clear, and deliver compelling archive material that enhances the storytelling and meets creative and legal requirements.

You will be responsible for researching and licensing a wide range of archive content—from sports footage and newsreels to personal and commercial media—while managing usage rights, clearances, and budget constraints. You will liaise with a variety of contributors, organisations, and agencies to track down rare or sensitive material and ensure everything is cleared for final delivery.

You will bring deep knowledge of archive sources, excellent negotiation skills, and strong attention to detail. The ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively with production and post teams is essential.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as an Archive Producer on high-end factual or documentary productions.
• Strong research skills and a broad knowledge of archive sources and rights management.
• Experience negotiating usage rights and managing archive budgets.
• Familiarity with legal and compliance issues relating to archive use.
• A methodical and creative approach to sourcing and securing impactful material.
• Clear communication, strong organisation, and the ability to work under pressure.
