About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to drive the development and delivery

of a crypto wallet platform. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with

people management, architecture ownership, and close collaboration with product,

security, and DevOps teams.

You will lead a cross-functional engineering team responsible for building secure,

scalable wallet services, APIs, and user interfaces used for crypto asset

management (send/receive, balance tracking, transaction processing, integrations).

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend and frontend services for the crypto wallet platform
• Define and enforce coding standards, architecture patterns, and bestpractices
• Participate hands-on in development using NestJS, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Design and optimize REST APIs and RPC-based services for internal andexternal integrations
• Oversee database design and performance using PostgreSQL and TypeORM
• Design and manage event-driven and asynchronous flows using RabbitMQ
• Ensure high standards for security, scalability, fault tolerance, and
• performance
  

Team & Delivery Management

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers (backend & frontend)
• Plan and manage sprint execution, task breakdown, and delivery timelines
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues and production incidents
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  

Architecture & Quality

• Drive system architecture decisions in a microservices or modular environment
  
• Ensure proper API versioning, documentation, and backward compatibility
  
• Promote test coverage, CI/CD best practices, and reliable release processes
  
• Work closely with DevOps and Security teams on deployment, monitoring,and compliance

Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with NestJS and backend development in Node.js
• Solid frontend experience with Next.js
• Expert-level TypeScript and strong JavaScript fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with TypeORM and PostgreSQL
• Experience building RESTful APIs and RPC-based services
• Practical knowledge of RabbitMQ and message-driven architectures
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API design
  

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven experience leading engineering teams as Team Lead / Tech Lead
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to align technical decisions with business goals
  
• Experience mentoring developers and driving engineering excellence
  
• Ability to balance hands-on coding with team leadership responsibilities

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on crypto wallets, blockchain platforms, or fintech systems
  
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  
• Knowledge of event sourcing, CQRS, or domain-driven design (DDD)
  
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
  
• Understanding of crypto concepts such as transactions, confirmations, and asset custody
