Team Member -Eckington UK LLC

About the role

We are a grocery store, coffee shop, and deli, that showcases locally made products alongside nationally recognized brands. Our stores are where many local food products meet the DC community for the first time. This position starts at $15 an hour plus tips.

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for:

• Getting to know our wonderful customers
• Learning about and selling our local food products and menu items, with special focus on our products working through our food business Accelerator
• Crafting specialty beverages
• Making sandwiches, salads, snacks, and prepping food service items
• Maintaining product sections and stocking grocery shelves
• Ensuring all areas are clean and organized according to company standards

• Can effectively communicate and build relationships with customers and team members of all backgrounds

• Have the ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 30 pounds
• Can climb ladders, stairs, ramps and uneven floor and/or surfaces.
• Can squat, bend, twist and reach for items below waist level or above shoulders
• Can use your hands to reach, grip, turn and perform precision work. You’re using your hands to do things like operate espresso machines, perform basic knife work, and operate the register
