Technical Business Systems Analyst (TBSA) partners closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented professional with a strong focus on delivering projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The TBSA leverages expertise in business analysis, process improvement, project management, reporting and analytics, process migration, and light software development to drive operational efficiency and business value.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead and coordinate business and technology initiatives, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and project objectives.
• Manage project requirements, timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to support effective project execution and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements to support system enhancements and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Evaluate existing workflows and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and scalable solutions.

Python Development & Automation

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline business processes and support data integration initiatives.
• Utilize Python and related scripting technologies for automation, API integrations, and technical enhancements.

PL/SQL Development

• Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot PL/SQL queries and procedures for reporting, data validation, and ETL processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across enterprise systems.

Power BI Reporting & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visual analytics that provide actionable business insights.
• Partner with business users to translate reporting requirements into meaningful data visualizations and performance metrics.
• Support data-driven decision-making through effective reporting solutions.

ETL Development & Data Integration

• Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to support data integration, transformation, and quality assurance requirements.
• Ensure consistent and reliable data flow across business applications and reporting environments.

Process Migration & Transformation

• Support the migration of legacy processes and systems to modern platforms and automated solutions.
• Document business processes, workflows, and system procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
• Facilitate smooth transitions with minimal business disruption during migration activities.
• Adapt processes and reporting solutions to comply with Mexican data privacy regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure regulatory compliance and successful audit outcomes.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or a related role.
• Proven experience in project management, business process analysis, reporting and analytics, ETL development, and system implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Python, SQL/PL-SQL, and data integration technologies.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

 

Core Competencies

•Fluent in English and Spanish or French is a plus.

Location: Ciudad de México/Mexico City (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
