Technical Drafter Inventor

Overview

Are you an experienced technical drafter who enjoys turning creative concepts into accurate, production-ready designs? Do you combine strong Autodesk Inventor skills with a practical understanding of materials and fabrication?

To strengthen our Special Projects team, PRG is looking for a Technical Drafter specialised in Inventor.

Qualifications

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in electro-mechanics, or have an equivalent experience or interest
• You have at least 3 years’ relevant experience in technical design or draughting.
• You have proven experience using Autodesk Inventor including parts, assemblies, technical drawings and bills of materials.
• You are a team player who believes in good communication, you’re flexible and like to work with a dynamic team
• You have analytical skills and an eye for detail
• You work methodically, accurately and can operate efficiently under high pressure. The show really must go on!
• A passion for entertainment & events
• Fluent in Dutch, working knowledge of English
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

You translate concepts, sketches, measurements and technical specifications into precise 3D models and detailed 2D production drawings. Your work enables our workshop, suppliers and installation teams to manufacture and assemble custom solutions for live events and special projects.

You work closely with project managers, designers, engineers, purchasers and production colleagues, ensuring that every drawing package is accurate, practical and ready for execution.
