About this role

We are inviting experienced Technical Office Engineers – Planning to register their interest for future opportunities across major structural construction projects in the Middle East.

The projects are expected to include large-scale structural developments requiring experienced planning engineers with expertise in project scheduling, progress monitoring, and construction planning.

Your Contribution

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, maintain, and update resource-loaded master schedules for major structural construction projects

• Prepare baseline schedules and monitor project progress against key milestones throughout the project lifecycle

• Support planning activities from preconstruction through project execution

Progress Monitoring & Schedule Control

• Track project progress and analyze schedule performance against approved baselines

• Perform critical path analysis, delay analysis, and resource leveling using Primavera (P6) and MS Project

• Identify schedule risks and recommend recovery strategies to maintain project objectives

Planning Coordination

• Coordinate with engineering, methods, procurement, and construction teams to ensure planning activities remain aligned with project execution

• Support multidisciplinary planning reviews and maintain accurate project reporting

• Ensure planning deliverables reflect current project status and construction priorities

Technical Office Support

• Work closely with the Technical Office Manager, Methods Engineers, and Construction Managers to translate field progress into accurate planning updates

• Prepare planning reports, look-ahead schedules, and progress analyses to support project decision-making

Your Profile

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry

• Between 60% and 70% of your professional experience gained within main contractor organizations

• Proven project planning experience within the United Arab Emirates and/or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Technical Expertise

• Experience developing and managing project schedules for major structural construction projects involving reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, complex building frameworks, and other large-scale structural construction activities

• Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies, progress measurement, critical path analysis, and schedule control

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera (P6) and MS Project

• Experience supporting multidisciplinary construction teams through all phases of project delivery

• Excellent attention to detail and reporting accuracy

• Effective communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
