Position Overview

Responsible for developing and scaling AI-powered clinical use cases by leveraging generative AI and large language model (LLM) technologies. This role focuses on building practical application-layer AI solutions to optimize industry workflows, generate actionable insights, and drive innovation in the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay current with the latest developments in LLM technologies and apply relevant advancements to product development.

• Drive product features from concept through delivery, including requirements gathering, specification writing, and quality validation.

• Contribute to product roadmap decisions and manage priorities within assigned product areas.

• Develop detailed product requirements and specifications based on agile practices and industry standards.

• Collaborate with pharmaceutical clients in the US and Europe, clinical teams, industry experts, and AI/ML specialists to identify workflow challenges and improvement opportunities.

• Independently conduct user interviews and market research to uncover customer needs and product opportunities.

• Work closely with engineering, QA, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

• Coordinate release cycles and development sprints to deliver valuable product enhancements at the right time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; a background in computer science or a related field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in technical product management, product management, or a related role.

• Ability to collaborate across time zones with customers and teams in the US and Europe.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese; fluency in spoken English and the ability to use English as a working language are required.

• Proven ability to independently conduct user interviews and research, and accurately identify customer needs and product opportunities.

• Strong motivation to solve complex business problems and build simple, scalable solutions.

• Self-driven and able to deliver effectively in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industries.

• Familiarity with life sciences regulatory standards, such as FDA and ICH guidelines.

• Proficiency with project and product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Familiarity with generative AI workflows, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI-assisted product capabilities.

• Experience designing and developing AI-powered products, particularly applications involving large language models.

• A proven track record and established methodology in product strategy, product development processes, and execution.
