## About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive execution across complex, cross-functional engineering initiatives. You'll partner with engineering, product, and design leads to plan roadmaps, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure programs ship on time and with high quality. This role requires enough technical depth to engage credibly with engineers on architecture and trade-offs, paired with strong program management fundamentals.

## Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end planning and execution of multi-team technical programs, from kickoff through launch
- Partner with engineering leads to define scope, milestones, and success criteria
- Identify, track, and drive resolution of cross-team dependencies and risks
- Build and maintain program plans, timelines, and status reporting for stakeholders and leadership
- Facilitate program-level rituals (planning, syncs, retros) without adding unnecessary process overhead
- Translate ambiguous technical problems into clear execution plans
- Surface trade-offs between scope, timeline, and resourcing to leadership with actionable recommendations
- Drive post-launch retrospectives and incorporate learnings into future planning
- Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

## Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering project management, or a related role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent cross-functional programs
- Strong technical fluency — able to read architecture diagrams, understand system dependencies, and hold your own in engineering discussions
- Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
- Proven track record of driving programs to on-time delivery in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
- Experience with project tracking tools (Jira, Asana, Linear, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

## Nice to Have

- Prior experience as a software engineer or in a hands-on technical role
- Experience with release management and CI/CD processes
- Familiarity with data-driven program tracking (dashboards, OKRs, metrics reporting)
- Experience managing programs involving third-party vendors or external partners
- PMP, PgMP, or Scrum-related certification
