Technology Manager – Facilities Management & Workplace Services | About You
As a Technology Manager – Facilities Management & Workplace Services, you will serve as the strategic technology owner for a portfolio of Facilities Management, Workplace Experience, Asset Management, and Workplace Analytics platforms. You will be responsible for driving technology strategy, platform governance, lifecycle management, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workplace operations and employee experience. The ideal candidate combines enterprise application management expertise with strong stakeholder engagement, platform governance, budget management, and digital transformation experience within facilities, workplace, or operational technology environments.
Technology Manager – Facilities Management & Workplace Services | Day-to-Day
- Own the lifecycle management, roadmap, governance, and continuous improvement of Facilities Management, Workplace Services, Asset Management, and Workplace Experience technology platforms.
- Lead enterprise platform modernization and migration initiatives, including application transitions, data retention strategies, system integrations, and operational readiness activities.
- Evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of workplace technology solutions that improve workplace experience, space utilization, facilities operations, and employee engagement.
- Establish governance processes, standards, and operating models while ensuring alignment with cybersecurity requirements, compliance standards, and enterprise technology policies.
- Manage third-party technology vendors, support partners, licensing agreements, service contracts, and platform support teams to ensure service quality and SLA performance.
- Partner with business leaders, facilities teams, workplace services organizations, IT stakeholders, and external providers to deliver scalable technology solutions that support operational and strategic business objectives.
Technology Manager – Facilities Management & Workplace Services | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise technology platforms, including Facilities Management (FM), Workplace Services, CAFM, CMMS, Asset Management, Workplace Experience, IoT, or related operational technology solutions.
- Experience leading technology modernization, platform migration, and digital transformation initiatives, including data migration, integration planning, and lifecycle management activities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application governance, cybersecurity review processes, SaaS platforms, vendor management, and technology operations within regulated environments.
- Experience managing technology budgets, contracts, licensing agreements, vendor relationships, and service delivery performance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, IT, operations, engineering, workplace services, and executive leadership teams.
- Preferred: Experience with CAFM, CMMS, workplace analytics, IoT platforms, ServiceNow integrations, workplace experience applications, or facilities technology ecosystems.
