Job Bridge Global is currently seeking a Temporary Works Designer - Engineer to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and engineering temporary structures and works that support construction projects. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure the safety, stability, and efficiency of temporary works throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design temporary structures and works, such as scaffolding, formwork, falsework, and shoring systems.
  • Perform calculations and analysis to ensure the stability and integrity of temporary works.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate design solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess temporary works and address any issues or concerns.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for project records.
  • Review and approve temporary works designs and documentation.
  • Provide technical advice and support to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in temporary works design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Temporary Works Designer - Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of temporary works design principles, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and design tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
