Test Engineer

The objective of the job is to provide technical support on processes, design and quality measures for a specific product

About the job:

• Provides design input, validation plan, prototypes/testing, complete ERN, ECO, drawings, datasheet and FMEA updates
• Ensures proper documentation of technical documents for assigned product.
• Leads sample production of new products
• Conducts follow-up on actions, PCN, deviations with relevant departments to gather necessary data
• Coordinates preparation and distribution of CCR
• Coordinates with supplier as technical liaison
• Coordinates with relevant departments on testing, process and yield improvement
• Participates, coordinates and ensures completion of quality-related requirements of a product.

About you:

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 4+ years of work experience in test products in an electronics / automotive manufacturing company
• Technical knowledge preferred
• Material Science knowledge preferred
• Well-versed in statistical tools and software like Minitab
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage
