Test Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment (all genders)

As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for the reliable operation of our highly sophisticated electron beam test systems. You execute and analyze complex tests, ensure maximum test bench availability and continuously improve our testing environment through technical integration, troubleshooting and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate multiple electron beam test benches and execute daily test procedures
• Analyze, evaluate and document test results using Python and internal tools
• Prepare, modify and reconfigure test benches for new test scenarios
• Assemble and integrate precision mechanical, electrical and vacuum components
• Troubleshoot test equipment and support software validation and debugging
• Perform preventive maintenance and manage spare parts
• Develop and improve SOPs and technical documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable technical discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment or technical test systems
• Experience executing, evaluating and documenting technical tests in a structured environment
• Basic Python skills for data analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to precision, accuracy and the highest quality standards
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with a structured, detail-oriented working style
• Knowledge of high-vacuum systems, electron beam technology or test automation is an advantage
• Excellent organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 45.000 € (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
