Testing Specialist

COSMOTE Global Solutions, a member of the OTE Group of Companies, is a leading ICT Systems Integrator delivering a wide range of ICT Solutions and Services.

We are looking for a Testing Specialist to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance and testing efforts in various ICT projects. The Testing Specialist will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to design, execute, and coordinate testing activities ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts (manual and automated) aligned with project requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects, and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing frameworks and tools.
• Participate in review sessions to provide quality feedback on requirements and design.
• Support release planning and coordinate testing activities during release cycles.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree at a related field
• 10 plus years of experience in testing
• Frontend development (HTML, CSS)
• JavaScript standards and frameworks (eg: React, Angular)
• Java standards and specific frameworks/implementations (eg: Spring, JEE)
• Development and build tools
• Database design principles/best practice
• Design, management, execution and reporting of tests, using appropriate manual and automation testing tools and techniques
• Experience with test management tools
• Experience in developing API automatic tests
• Hands on programming experience
• SQL
