Théodor Brasserie is our modern French brasserie in Berlin-Charlottenburg, located in the former Mommseneck on Mommsenstraße. The restaurant brings new life to a historic City West location and combines French brasserie cuisine, selected wines, warm service and a lively, elegant atmosphere.

The goal for Théodor is to establish a successful all-day dining destination in Berlin City West, with services gradually developing from breakfast and lunch through to dinner. We are looking for people who enjoy quality, structure and teamwork — and who want to help shape a young restaurant as it grows into a strong hospitality address in Charlottenburg.

The Role

As Commis de Rang / Runner at Théodor, you support the Chef de Rangs and service team throughout preparation and service. You help bring food and drinks to the table, maintain the stations, reset tables and make sure the rhythm between kitchen, bar and dining room works smoothly.

This is a hands-on floor role and an excellent step for someone who wants to grow in restaurant service. You will learn the standards, the menu, the flow of the room and the details that make a brasserie service feel warm, precise and effortless.

We are looking for people who are quick, attentive and team-oriented. Someone who sees what needs to be done, enjoys being on the floor and understands that even small details — a polished glass, a cleared plate, a well-timed dish — shape the guest experience.

Requirements

Requirements

· Previous experience as Commis de Rang, Food Runner, Service Assistant or in a similar restaurant role

· Restaurant experience in a busy, high-quality environment is a strong plus

· Ability to carry plates, trays and drinks safely and confidently

· Support with mise en place, polishing, station set-up, table resets and closing duties

· Accurate and timely delivery of food and drinks from kitchen or bar to the correct tables

· Basic understanding of service steps, table maintenance and guest care

· Interest in food, drinks and French brasserie culture

· Clear communication with Chef de Rangs, kitchen, bar and management

· Calm, quick and organised working style during busy services

· Attention to cleanliness, detail and presentation

· Willingness to learn, take direction and grow within the service team

· Good spoken German and/or English; both languages are a plus

· Reliable, punctual, hands-on and team-oriented
