About the role

Stout Roofing is hiring experienced tile roofers. We have work lined up and ready to start, and we need installers who can get on a roof and produce.

We pay piece rate, so your production determines your paycheck. Our rates are competitive with anyone in the market, and there's enough work backed up that you won't be sitting idle between jobs.

Stout Roofing has been serving Utah, Nevada, and Arizona for 28 years. We run Tile, Flat, Shingle, Metal, Repair, and Solar divisions with roughly 175 employees across St. George, Cedar City, Las Vegas, and Mesa. Licensed, bonded, and insured in all three states.

What you'll be doing

• Loading, laying out, and installing concrete and clay tile roof systems
• Setting underlayment, battens, and flashing to spec
• Cutting and fitting tile at hips, valleys, rakes, and penetrations
• Keeping the job site clean and the load staged correctly
• Working safely at height, including proper use of fall protection

What we're looking for

• Hands-on tile roofing experience (residential and/or commercial)
• Ability to work at height and lift [50] lbs repeatedly in Southwest heat
• Reliable transportation to the job site and a solid attendance record
• Own hand tools preferred
• Crews are welcome to apply together
• Valid driver's license
• [OSHA 10 a plus / we provide training]

Responsabilidades

• Cargar, distribuir e instalar sistemas de teja de concreto y barro
• Colocar el fieltro (underlayment), listones y flashing según especificación
• Cortar y ajustar teja en limas, valles, aleros y penetraciones
• Mantener limpia el área de trabajo y la carga bien distribuida
• Trabajar de manera segura en alturas, incluyendo el uso correcto del arnés

Requisitos

• Experiencia práctica instalando teja (residencial y/o comercial)
• Capacidad de trabajar en alturas y levantar [50] libras repetidamente bajo el calor del suroeste
• Transporte confiable al lugar de trabajo y buena asistencia
• Se prefiere que traiga sus propias herramientas de mano
• Las cuadrillas completas pueden aplicar juntas
• Licencia de manejo vigente
