Mekanika is a leading operator in the Building and Engineering Services Industry, specialising in mechanical and electrical contracting, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products and facilities management. Due to further expansion, the above-mentioned career opportunity has now arisen.

Working as part of an existing team, the selected candidate would be expected to perform the following duties:

• Prepare wall and floor surfaces for tiling, ensuring they are level, clean and ready for installation;
• Measure, cut and lay ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and other types of tiles;
• Install wall and floor tiles in accordance with project specifications and quality standards;
• Apply adhesives, grout and sealants, ensuring a high-quality finish;
• Carry out tile repairs, replacements and maintenance works;
• Install skirting tiles, stair nosings and decorative tile finishes where required;
• Ensure waterproofing and surface preparation are carried out correctly before tiling works;
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment whilst adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will preferably:

• Have previous experience in a similar role within the Building Service Industry;
• Have a good command of the English language;
• Have a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and workplace safety;
• Be self-motivated, reliable and capable of working independently as well as part of a team;
• Be a team player with honest and mature personality
