G MASS are working with a leading provider of regulatory reporting technology and consulting services, supporting banks, brokers, hedge funds, asset managers, insurers and corporates in meeting their global transaction reporting obligations through a cloud based, cross regulation platform.
The firm's transaction reporting managed services function is growing, and this role sits at the centre of that expansion. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for the end to end management of client transaction reporting workflows, acting as the key point of contact between clients, internal technology teams and compliance stakeholders. This is a client facing leadership role covering regimes such as EMIR, MiFID, ASIC, CFTC, SEC and SFTR, and offers broad exposure across legal, compliance, technology and client facing functions within a fast moving regulatory environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team supporting clients across their transaction reporting requirements
- Own client enquiries and requests, ensuring efficient and timely resolution
- Support clients in understanding platform functionality and resolving day to day reporting issues
- Take part in client training sessions and site visits
- Escalate issues promptly and track them through to resolution
- Support validation and UAT activity relating to issue resolution
- Drive operational strategy, automation and data quality initiatives across the managed services function
- Manage client specific projects and deliverables
- Act as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
- Experience managing a team within a transaction reporting environment
- Strong client facing background, ideally within financial services, securities finance experience an advantage
- Working knowledge of transaction reporting regimes such as EMIR, MiFID, ASIC, CFTC, SEC or SFTR
- Comfortable grasping technical concepts and working alongside technology teams
- Advanced Excel skills, with working knowledge of SQL and APIs
- Familiarity with other vendor or regulatory reporting systems useful
