Transportation Product Manager (Product - Operations)

Join our Product Operations team as a Transportation Product Manager and own the product strategy and direction for the delivery and transportation area, turning business needs and market opportunities into clear priorities that shape the delivery experience across the organization.

What you’ll have to do:

Strategy & Prioritization

• Define the vision and strategic direction for delivery capabilities (courier integrations, delivery allocation and processing infrastructure, tracking and notification flows, etc.) and track measurable product objectives aligned with the company's strategy;
• Identify opportunities to use AI and AI agents across the transportation and delivery area - for example, improving courier allocation (cost and time optimization), sharpening delivery time estimate accuracy, or dynamically balancing delivery capacity;
• Identify business opportunities based on data, market research, and feedback from across the organization;
• Prioritize initiatives based on estimated impact (customer experience, revenue, saving) vs. implementation cost, and contribute to business case creation, including risks and alternatives;
• Recommend resource allocation toward the highest-impact initiatives, in collaboration with the organization's leadership;
• Adapt strategy and priorities to market-specific needs across Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria, accounting for regulatory and operational differences between markets.

Data & Validation

• Analyze data to validate strategic hypotheses (testing, metric definition, impact modeling) and monitor product metrics (adoption, performance, or satisfaction);
• Identify trends and early signals that should influence the product roadmap, including through competitive analysis and monitoring of emerging technologies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operational, Commercial, Legal, and Finance teams to integrate real constraints and implications (regulatory, financial) into the strategy, including navigating regulatory considerations relevant to delivery and courier allocation practices;
• Partner with courier and delivery partner technical teams to define integration requirements and service capabilities, including SLA parameters and onboarding/testing of new integrations;
• Communicate direction and priorities to execution teams (Product Owner, Engineering, etc.).

Discovery

• Generate new initiatives, conduct interviews with internal users and partners, and test directions at concept level before handing them off to execution teams;
• Define success criteria and validate feasibility through proof-of-concept work for technically uncertain or high-risk directions, using results to inform go/no-go and prioritization decisions.

What makes you a good fit:

• 3+ years of experience in product management, ideally in a strategic or platform-level role;
• Experience applying AI or AI agents to product or operational use cases;
• Strategic thinking: the ability to see the big picture and prioritize correctly;
• Comfort with data: interpreting and using analysis to inform decisions;
• Effective communication with stakeholders at various levels (leadership, operational, legal/financial);
• The ability to collaborate effectively with execution roles (Product Owner, Engineering);
• Fluent in English.
