The Assignment
We're hiring a licensed COTA for an 8-week travel assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Las Animas, CO. The contract is renewable at the facility's discretion, and there's real potential to extend for the right clinician.
You'll work under the direction of a supervising OT, delivering treatment plans to a geriatric and post-acute population — ADL retraining, functional mobility, adaptive equipment training, and restorative programming.
Compensation & Travel Support
- $45–$55 per hour, based on experience
- Housing provided
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.40/mile for travel to and from the assignment
- $27 per diem for travel days to and from the assignment
- Overtime available and encouraged
Hours
The facility projects 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Please note: this is a per-facility contract, so hours are not guaranteed at 40 — they are driven by census and caseload. Most weeks run full.
Requirements
- Active Colorado COTA license (or NBCOT certification with Colorado license in process — we can help)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Prior SNF or long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to commit to the full 8-week term
