Triage Specialist, Vulnerability Discovery Programme

We are seeking motivated fresh graduates or early-career professionals passionate about cybersecurity to join our Crowdsourced Vulnerability Discovery Programme (CVDP) triage team on a contract basis. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment and management whilst working with government systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop expertise in assessing and validating incoming vulnerability reports from security researchers, working closely with senior team members to determine severity and impact
• Contribute to triage and root cause analysis of vulnerabilities under the guidance of experienced team members
• Document findings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
• Analyse vulnerability trends and patterns within systems
• Support the maintenance and development of APIs for integrating bug bounty platform, JIRA, and other external systems under supervision
• Assist with data cleansing processes and develop scripts for data transformation, gaining practical experience in data quality management

Requirements

• OSCP certification or programming experience will be advantageous
• Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field
• Internship experience in IT security, software development, or related field (advantageous)
• Required Skills
• Fundamental understanding of web application security and common vulnerabilities (OWASP)
• Knowledge of programming concepts and basic scripting capabilities
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities
• Basic understanding of API concepts and system integration
• Positive attitude and collaborative team spirit
• Strong commitment to supporting colleagues and contributing to a helpful work environment
