Role: Java Tech Lead

Location: Mclean, VA

Description

-* Core Java ; multi-threading, concurrency, annotations, collections, etc. - Hands-on experience developing in Java, open source frameworks such as *JSF/MyFaces/RichFacesTomahawk/Spring/Hibernate.
· Application servers such as Websphere and Tomcat.
· Experience automating infrastructure build activities using Java
· Should have understanding on the Infrastructure components suchs VMware, Network and Servers.
· Should have experience infrastructure application integration.
· Java , JavaScript , Oracle , Hibernate (if possible) not must, else knowledge of ORM in past.
· Spring framework a must in the past.
· Experience in eclipse
· Familiarity with some source control system. (preferably in GIT)
· Familiarity of Apache, Tomcat set up .
· XML technologies including DTD/XSD, XPATH, and Object XML mapping. - Unit testing (Junit), Continuous integration, and Agile methodologies.
· Knowledge of and experience with working on common design patterns and industry standards.
· Strong communication, analysis, and problem solving skills.
· Experience in creation of design documents on the task assigned.
· Quick to learn, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
· Work well within a team environment and with minimal supervision.
· Comfortable working with clearly defined project plans and contributing estimates to the planning process.
· Able to meet and deliver on deadlines and work well under pressure.
· Unix command line and basic scripting.
· Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
· Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet Infrastructure applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
· Integrates Infrastructure applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
· Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
· Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Strong development skills with Maven and ANT
• An understanding and knowledge of Hibernate, Web Services, JPA
• Configuration and troubleshooting experience (4+ years) with Weblogic Application server
• Working knowledge of Autosys and Autosys Scripts
• An understanding of Integration knowledge on IBM TAM
• Working knowledge of and experience with UDB, Sybase, SQL Server and Oracle.
