Vault Attendant

Key Responsibilities

• Receive deposits from vending staff.
• Opens and verifies contents of shipment against receipt.
• Separates out and counts cash and coins.
• Consolidates multiple locations' currency.
• Prepares deposit slips.
• Prepares reports as required.
• Maintains accurate accounting and audit trails for all funds following company policies and procedures.
• Continuously seeks to improve efficiency and processes.
• Makes recommendations, gains approval, and implements changes.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
• Supports a service-oriented environment that leads others to improve their service actions.
• Maintains positive attitude with co-workers and vendors.
• Portrays enthusiasm to each customer/vendor.
• Follows through with action when special requests are made.
• Promotes the maintenance of a safe, accident free and healthy work environment.
• Consistently seeks to learn other functions and assists team members as needed.
• Maintains positive and professional image.
• Arrives to work on time and ready to work.
• Ensures integrity and honestly in handling large volumes of money.
• Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned from time to time.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• High school diploma.
• At least two years of previous related experience.
