Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities would be monitor and coordinate voyage charters and time charters
• Liaise with owners and charterers to ensure smooth voyage operations.
• Handle claims and demurrage.
• Draw up and prepare charter parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or a related field.
• Typically 3-5 years of experience in vessel operations or a related role in the shipping industry.
• Hands-on experience with voyage planning, stowage planning, and bunker management.
• Experience in handling claims (e.g., demurrage, deviation) is often required.
• Precision in documentation and laytime calculations.
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Plan and monitor the vessel's route for optimal time and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with charterers, agents, and other stakeholders for smooth operations.
