Vet Nurse - Overnight Service

We are seeking qualified Veterinary Nurses to join our new Weekday Overnight In-Patient Companion Animal Service. These newly created positions will support, patient admissions, and inpatient care while helping ensure seamless continuity of care for our hospitalised patients and evening consultations.

Available Shifts

Evening Veterinary Nurse

• 4.30pm - 12am, Monday to Friday

Overnight Veterinary Nurse

• 11.30pm - 8am, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for hospitalised patients.
• Administer treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Admit patients into the overnight service.
• Prepare and maintain patient care plans.
• Assist with patient transfers and client communication.
• Complete detailed handovers to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist veterinarians with consultations and patient care.

• Have excellent patient-care skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Be organised and capable of working independently.
• Have a passion for delivering high-quality inpatient nursing care.
