The practice is fully equipped with advanced diagnostics including CT Scanner, X-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, and endoscopy, alongside purpose-built consulting rooms, an isolation ward, and a spacious prep and theatre suite. High standards of care are supported by multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring and a ventilator.
Based in north Leeds near Roundhay Park with excellent transport links, the large and supportive team includes 16 vets, a strong nursing team, and dedicated emergency care staff, providing wraparound support across hospital, GP clinics, and an exotics-only service.
- 40 hours over 4 days per week and a share of the bank holiday rota, planned in advance.
- 1:6 weekends with toil given in lieu.
- Fully flexible role with work across surgical, medical, and emergency departments with some exotic work if desired.
- Duties include consulting, client care, routine and complex procedures, triage, routine and complex inpatient care, and running diagnostic tests (lab/radiography/CT) across a range of species (cats/dogs/rabbits/reptiles/birds/small mammals).

- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
