Veterinary Swing Client Liaison

Position Summary

Timberline Veterinary is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Outpatient Client Liaison to join our team. This role is essential to our mission of providing exceptional care and fostering an amazing workplace.

The TVES Outpatient Client Liaison is an essential member of the hospital team, working closely with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members to provide exceptional patient care and client service. This role serves as a primary point of contact for outpatient clients and referring veterinary practices, supporting clear communication and continuity of care throughout the patient’s visit.

Outpatient Client Liaisons coordinate client communications, outpatient visits, follow-up care, prescriptions, and evening discharges. They support client and patient flow by monitoring exam rooms and patient comfort during extended waits, coordinating transitions between services, facilitating outside laboratory testing, and assisting with euthanasia coordination. The role also maintains clear communication with referral partners (obtaining records), reviews client invoices for accurate charge capture, provides education regarding treatment plans, addresses client concerns professionally, and contributes to efficient hospital operations and continuity of care.

Experience and Qualification Requirements:

• Prior phone or reception experience
• Three years previous experience in emergency veterinary medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable interacting with clients and creating a positive customer experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Positive attitude, cooperative work style and growth mindset
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions
• Able to pass the Washington Veterinary Medical Clerk license within 90 days of hire
• Basic computer and scheduling software proficiency
  
  

Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits:

• We are currently hiring for two positions: Wednesday - Saturday 12pm-10pm and Sunday-Tuesday 10am-10pm.
• As an emergency and specialty hospital, all team members are required to participate in a rotation for holiday coverage, which includes working at least one summer and one winter holiday.
• Hourly compensation is based on experience and skills ($25-32/hr).

• Shift differentials apply for overnight and weekend shifts and are added on top of hourly pay.
