Job Title: VMAX Engineer/ System Engineer
Location: Roseland NJ
Duration: 6+ Months

5+ years of Hands ON Experience in Symmetrix/Vmax Storage (Recent Experience/Last 5+ yrs.).
Must have Hands on Experience in Symmetrix/Vmax Migration in last 2 yrs., using Open Replicator/SRDF/LVM
Proficient in Vmax & Cisco Migration methods, Troubleshooting

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
10+ years of experience in IT environments, System Administration, Storage Administration, or IT consulting.
5+ years of Hands ON Experience in Symmetrix/Vmax Storage array Infrastructure (Recent Experience/Last 5+ years).
Must have Hands on Experience in Symmetrix/Vmax Migration in last 2 years.
Proficient in Vmax using Migration tools/methodologies, Performance troubleshooting, SRDF, Timefinder, Open Replicator, SLO's/Tiering, and Data migration support.
Strong Experience in Cisco MDS SAN Switches, SAN management and Configuration Tools.
Experience in Cisco MDS san Fabric/Switches, Fabric Manager, Device Manager and Cisco SAN OS cli.
Working knowledge of SAN Environment and Replication.
Experience with Windows/Unix/ESX for storage related configuration steps.
Self-Motivated, team player with a strong desire to learn and excel.

Qualifications

Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience with HDS VSP/G1000, and/or XIV.

Preferred Qualifications:
Operating System, Backup, Storage and Storage Certifications are desirable.
Experience with UNIX, Linux and Windows administration.
