VP of Sales - Wealth Management

LondonHybridFull-time

AI Summary

Owns the full sales cycle to drive new business growth in wealth management across Europe and Asia, building relationships with private banks and wealth management firms while selling independent research and data solutions.

About this role

Note: This role is primarily remote with the expectation of meeting in person in Central London up to 2 days a week.

CFRA is looking for a VP of Sales to drive new business growth and expand our footprint across the wealth management markets of Europe and Asia. This is a quota-carrying, new-business role focused on building relationships with wealth management firms and private banks, and positioning CFRA's independent research and data solutions as essential to their investment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle — prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new business
  • Build and manage a pipeline through cold calling, networking, and other proactive outreach
  • Develop a deep understanding of CFRA's research and data products to tailor solutions to client needs
  • Represent CFRA at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across Europe and Asia
  • Partner with Research, Account Management, and Client Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client retention
  • Manage the BDR while working alongside them day-to-day — jointly setting priority target accounts and contacts, shaping campaign strategy, and dividing up outreach to maximize coverage
  • Provide market feedback to leadership on competitive positioning, pricing, and product gaps
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 5–7 years of sales experience in financial services, ideally selling research, data, or analytics products into wealth management, private banking, or financial advisors
  • A track record of winning new logos (whitespace/new-to-new targets) rather than growing existing accounts
  • An established network of wealth management and private banking relationships, with the ability to build new ones
  • Strong understanding of investment research and equity markets, and how wealth managers use third-party research in their process
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers
  • Self-starter who thrives in a small, independent, entrepreneurial environment
  • Preferred: prior research sales experience; experience selling into wealth and private banking firms in Switzerland and Singapore; fluency in French or German; FCA-regulated industry experience

Benefits

  • Work with a trusted, independent voice in investment research - no conflicts of interest, no investment banking ties
  • Small, collaborative team where your impact is visible and valued
  • Autonomy to build and own your territory
  • Competitive base + uncapped commission structure
Benefits
  • Sick Days
  • PTO
  • Holiday Pay
  • Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance
  • Company paid Life & Disability Insurance
  • Competitive Pay
  • Performance Bonus
  • Pension
