"}">The Warehouse Administrator ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating daily activities, including receiving, storage and shipping, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities
General Warehouse Duties
Maintain cleanliness / appearance of warehouse, dock area (inside and outside), maintain yard area (trailer storage).
Check for needed repairs to warehouse, docks, roll-up doors etc.
Load all outbound products in a manner that is both stable and within the weight limits of the vehicle.
Bill and seal dropped trailers as necessary.
Monitor sealed loads for proper temp and fuel until they leave the yard.
Complete paperwork, update PME, update mega spreadsheet.
Document (photo) all outbound loads and upload photos to Microsoft Teams.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications required: Current lift truck (forklift) operator training for sit-down counterbalance trucks, in line with CSA B335. A site-specific practical evaluation is completed before operating equipment.
• Training provided by the company: GMP training during the first week of training; WHMIS and Ontario Worker Health and Safety Awareness training at onboarding.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in shipping and receiving or warehouse coordination, preferably with food or temperature-controlled (reefer) freight. Recent experience operating a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers, operating a yard mule (shunt truck), working with bills of lading, and receiving and shipping loads in a WMS.
