Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

BEST Distribution is seeking a customer-oriented, entreprenurial, and detail oriented Warehouse Associate for our customer's warehouse in Louisburg!

Recent experience in safe operation of a forklift is required and will be asked about during the interview process.

We are seeking a candidate who has:

• At least two years of warehouse/customer service experience; computer skills, including us of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, cherry picker, pallet jacks)

• Ability to lift at least 50lbs loading and unloading products

• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations

• Can reliably commute to and from work and show on-time attendance and a positive attitude daily;

Responsibilities

Warehouse Associates are responsible for daily operations in the company distribution center by helping maintain the warehouse, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, and assisting internal/external customers.

This role is directly involved in all phases of the warehouse operations including customer service, inventory management, customer interaction and warehouse operations

You can expect to work day shift hours (within the timeframe of 7:30a to 4:30p), Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays or weekend work as required.

Pay is $23.00 per hour to start.

Requirements

2 years of recent warehouse/distribution experience with the ability to safely and efficiently operate a Forklift. Must be reliable, timely, and a motivated team player.
