Warehouse Driver

DEM Elevating Equipment, a division of Delaware Elevator, is seeking a qualified and motivated professional to join our team. If you’re a dependable CDL Class A driver who takes pride in safety, organization, and teamwork, we want to hear from you.

Essential Responsibilities

• Transport products and materials to and from various destinations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding schedules and job status.
• Load trucks for deliveries (forklift and equipment provided)
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse
• Check in incoming materials and freight
• Maintain CDL logs to ensure DOT compliance

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CDL Class B license (required), Class A preferred
• Clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years of on-the-road experience
• Forklift certification
• Ability to lift heavy materials (with assistance or equipment as needed)
• Experience maintaining CDL logs for DOT compliance
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Experience driving in city environments (e.g. larger metropolitan areas such as New York City)

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to lift heavy material (with assistance or help and or equipment)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
