Location: Skelmersdale, WN8 9PP | £13.20 per hour + £200 monthly attendance bonus

Are you hardworking, reliable and ready for a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Victorian Plumbing is looking for motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our Tiles team in Skelmersdale!

Our tiles warehouse plays an important role in helping customers bring their dream homes to life. From picking orders to preparing products for dispatch, you'll help ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently.

This is a physically demanding role that involves a significant amount of heavy lifting and manual handling. Tiles can be particularly heavy, so you'll need to be comfortable regularly lifting, carrying and moving stock throughout your shift. If you enjoy an active role where no two days are quite the same, this could be the opportunity for you!

What Will You Be Doing?

• Picking and Preparing Orders: Accurately picking tile orders and preparing them for dispatch, ensuring customers receive the correct products.

• Loading and Unloading Stock: Handling deliveries and moving products safely around the warehouse.

• Maintaining Stock: Keeping the warehouse organised and ensuring products are stored safely and efficiently.

• Quality and Accuracy: Checking products and orders carefully to help maintain our high standards.

• Working as a Team: Supporting colleagues to meet daily targets and ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations.

• Following Safe Working Practices: Using the correct manual handling techniques and following all health and safety procedures.

What Are We Looking For?

We're looking for people who bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to get stuck in.

You'll ideally have:

• Good Physical Fitness: The ability to undertake frequent heavy lifting and manual handling throughout your shift. Please be aware that tiles can be particularly heavy.

• A Strong Work Ethic: A hardworking, dependable approach and the ability to work in a busy warehouse environment.

• Attention to Detail: The ability to pick and check orders accurately.

• Teamwork Skills: A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with colleagues.

• A Can-Do Attitude: Someone who's keen to learn, take on new challenges and contribute to the success of the team.

Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but isn't essential. What's most important is having the right attitude and being prepared for the physical demands of the role.

Shift Pattern and Pay

Working Hours – Weekly Rotation

• Week 1: 07:30–16:00

• Week 2: 11:00–19:30

The shift pattern rotates between Week 1 and Week 2, with shifts allocated one year in advance.

Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour
Additional Bonus: £200 monthly attendance bonus
