We’ll teach you sushi from scratch | Sushi Master | KONICHIWOW! Full salary from day one (even during training)

We’re looking for a new team member for our YUZU corner in Kaufland, where you’ll prepare fresh handmade sushi right in front of customers.

No boring back-office routine – here you’ve got a knife, rice, salmon and creativity in your hands.

Never held a sushi knife before? No worries. That’s exactly what we’re here for.

What you’ll earn

• €1,300 gross/monthly

• attendance bonus €200 gross /monthly

• summer bonus €250

• Christmas bonus €250

• Earn €200 for referring a friend who joins our team

• Meal allowance €6.98/day

• Extra pay for weekends and bankholidays

How we’ll train you
We won’t throw you in front of customers on day one. Your journey to becoming a sushi master looks like this:

1. 2–3 weeks in production – you’ll learn the basics: cutting salmon, rolling, filling, packaging. Full salary, no pressure.

2. Move to the corner – once you’re confident, you’ll start creating sushi live in front of customers.

3. You’re never alone. You’ll be supported by our Jumpers and your Area Manager, who started exactly where you are now.

Your daily job

• preparing and rolling fresh sushi

• following recipes and quality standards

• serving customers and taking orders (a bit of small talk included 🙂)

• keeping your workspace clean – hygiene is part of the craft

Who we’re looking for

• reliable and responsible

• likes cleanliness and order

• willing to learn and try something new

• experience in gastronomy is a plus, but not required

Working hours

Full-time job, 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week.
Schedules are planned in advance together with the team.
Shift start varies – sometimes from 6:00, other days around 9:30.
