Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday HRIS Engineer to lead the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's Workday HR system. This role plays a critical part in driving system reliability, optimising HR processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the HR function. You will support core Workday modules including HCM, Recruitment, Performance, Absence, and Time Tracking, and act as a trusted technical partner to HR teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
System Configuration and Maintenance
- Configure and customise Workday to meet HR needs, including workflows, security roles, and reporting
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to streamline HR operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
User Support and Training
- Provide technical support to HR team members and other users, resolving system-related issues
- Conduct training sessions to improve understanding and utilisation of the Workday system
Data Management and Reporting
- Ensure accurate and secure management of employee data within Workday
- Develop and generate reports and dashboards covering HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, recruiting, and performance
- Translate HR insights into actionable recommendations by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities across recruitment, retention, performance, engagement, and workforce planning
- Ensure HR data accuracy and compliance with data collection and retention regulations
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM configuration and support
- Strong technical skills including proficiency in Workday configuration and customisation
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
