Working Student (f/m/d) Shared Network Infrastructure

As a member of the Shared Network Infrastructure team you are responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Shared Network Infrastructure, SNI, network for the IONOS group. The SNI network provides management network connectivity and network related services to the various other IONOS network teams in IONOS. These services include management network uplinks, Out of Band connectivity, Network device user management, monitoring, backups, logging, etc.

Tasks

• Basic networking tasks
• Basic Linux administration
• Validating network documentation
• Maintaining and developing network weather maps in Grafana

Qualifications

• Basic Networking knowledge
• Fluent in both English and German
• Interested in scripting with Python / Bash, using APIs
• Interested in network automation using Ansible
• 10 - 15 hours per week
• Able to work independently
• Problem-solving aptitude
