Youth Basketball Scorekeeper

Be part of the game as a Youth Basketball Scorekeeper, operating the electronic scoreboard, keeping accurate game records, and helping create a fun, positive experience for young athletes! Saturday morning and afternoon shifts and Sunday shifts are available, with approximately 4–12 hours per week. The fall season runs from late October through mid-December, and the winter season runs from early January through mid-March, with required training dates to be announced.

Salary Range: $16-$17/Hr.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school student, high school graduate, or G.E.D.
• Minimum age of 15 is required
  
• One to two years of work experience keeping score for sporting events
• Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

• Standing or sitting for sustained periods while completing work
• Repetitive hand/arm movements such as when keeping score or running a scoreboard
• Some bending, twisting, and walking while performing job duties
• Some bending, kneeling and reaching for items off the floor and on high shelves
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. in recreational equipment, storage boxes, and other supplies.
