JA Ocean View Hotel is looking for a committed and skilled AC Technician to join our Engineering Team.

How You'll Make an Impact

· Respond promptly to air conditioning and refrigeration breakdowns

· Conduct inspections of kitchen chillers, freezers, HVAC systems, and ETS plant rooms

· Monitor and record readings for chillers, freezers, and cooling plants according to schedule

· Maintain and service AHUs, FAHUs, and FCUs across guest rooms and public areas

· Service kitchen exhaust and toilet exhaust systems

· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on air conditioning equipment

· Service, repair, and sanitize ice cube machines

· Carry out major repairs on chillers, freezers, and air-conditioning units

· Support HACCP compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and records

· Coordinate with the General Technician to resolve guest room AC maintenance requests

· Ensure all HVAC systems operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards

Bring These Qualifications

Education

🔹 High School Certificate or equivalent

🔹 Vocational Diploma or Technical Certification

Qualifications

🔹 Strong knowledge of central cooling plants, HVAC systems, indoor and outdoor units

🔹 Good understanding of refrigerants, gases, and cooling technologies

🔹 Ability to diagnose faults and perform effective repairs

Experience

🔹 Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance within 5-star hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, facilities management companies, or residential buildings

Skills

🔹 Basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)

🔹 Basic English communication skills, both written and verbal

🔹 Strong attention to detail and preventive maintenance practices

🔹 Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic hospitality environment
