About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Account Executive for our AI Agents team, based in South Africa. This role is designed for a full-cycle SMB closer who excels in running discovery calls, delivering demos, and closing deals independently. Unlike traditional SDR or enterprise relationship management positions, this role emphasizes agility and effectiveness in selling recurring B2B software directly to owners and operators.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing deals quickly, confidently asking for business, negotiating under pressure, and structuring deals without relying on discounting. With deals typically ranging from $300 to $650+ per month and often closed within one or two calls, your ability to communicate value through business outcomes and ROI will be essential.
As a key member of our sales team, you will engage directly with US business owners, managing interruptions and objections while maintaining control over sales conversations. Your reliability will be crucial; punctuality for all booked calls, proactive communication, and accurate reporting in CRM are non-negotiable expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery calls with potential clients to understand their needs.
  • Deliver engaging product demos that highlight the value of our AI solutions.
  • Close sales effectively, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to customer.
  • Negotiate pricing confidently while holding prices under pressure.
  • Structure deals strategically, avoiding excessive discounting.
  • Follow up relentlessly with prospects until a decision is made.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
  • Report on personal sales metrics and performance without needing reminders.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on product offerings and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience in a full-cycle sales role, particularly in B2B environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to sell confidently and close deals independently.
  • Experience selling software solutions, preferably on a subscription basis.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to push back respectfully.
  • Excellent time management skills and punctuality for all scheduled calls.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software for tracking sales activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle objections and interruptions during sales calls.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in communication with prospects and team members.
  • Ability to adapt language and approach for diverse international business contexts.
