Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external audit assignments and liaise with banks with respect to annual review requirements.

· Assist in the coordination between the Finance and Accounts Departments and the other departments of the Company.

· Monitor and coach the team

· Participate in the project management of key solutions.

· Prepare all financial reporting within deadlines namely:

o Monthly financial and operations dashboards.

o Management accounts and Group Reporting Packs.

o Yearly budgets and board reporting

o Any regular reporting to local authorities.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Management & Finance, or relevant professional accounting qualification

· ACCA level 2 at least

· Proven post-qualification experience as Accountant

· Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures

· Excellent accounting reporting and financial analysis skills

· Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Netsuite and Sage.

· Advanced MS Excel skills

· Accuracy and attention to detail with sound judgement

· In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

· Awareness of business trends

· Familiarity with financial accounting statements and generating management accounts

· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

· Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and respond to changing priorities

· Excellent inter-personal skills conducive to working in a small office environment

· Excellent written, verbal, and organisational skills in French and English
